Halloween with the Hornbergers

The Hornbergers enjoyed a spooky and fun-filled Halloween party at Dad and Janet's home. Everyone brought lots of spooky treats.
The favorite was the gummy foot with candy cane bones.

Thanks to Jody for organizing the fun. She had games for us to play as well as prizes for the costume contest. Most everyone dressed up. The winners were Janet (a hobo) and Hannah (a pirate). Somehow I (Jenny) got 3rd with 2 votes.

Here are some of the other contenders...
Stan was a ghostbuster, I was a witch and Miriam was Tinkerbell.

Anna (a 80's girl), Sara (Cowgirl) & Janet and her daughter Jenny as hobosJared's wife Anne and her girls Lydia, Ella & Hannah

Anne as "Dirty Laundry"
Stan with some of Rebecca's kids: The ninja (Braden), greek goddess (Julianne), gypsy (Sally) and Princess (Menley)Jody (a baby) with Braden & Julianne

We ended the evening with a few rounds of the mystery game, Mafia. Several of the kids even joined in on the game and played key roles. It was a fun Halloween. Miriam's first, and she slept through all the fun (surprise) :-)
Her eyes are red because she had a fit right before this picture. Right after this, she had a nap. Oh, and the hands belong to her loving Aunt Rebecca who didn't want to be in the picture. Hard to believe, I know.

Until next year...

Great pictures of everyone - it's fun to see what the Hornberger's are up to. Freeman keeps trying to figure out a time we can come see all of you!!

Looks like a funny party, (although the food made me a little nauseous ;) It 's good to see how you guys are doing.
